Domestic information for website - Did You Know...
…most people typically underestimate the value of the items they own and, consequently, do not carry enough coverage?
Should the unthinkable happen, you want to ensure that your precious items are fully covered. To help with that, we have a handy guide available Download Here to help you calculate items in your home so that you can be confident that you have safely covered your contents.

…your domestic Contents policy has a limit to what your insurer will pay in the event of a claim?
Your domestic Contents policy protects the removable items in your home if they are lost, stolen or damaged. These are fully noted in the insurers’ policy wordings but would include:
- $3,000 for jewellery, watches, cameras, camcorders and their accessories
- $3,000 for coin or stamp collections
Should you have items that are valued for more than the amounts noted above you may want to consider having these items specified on your Contents policy to ensure that they would be replaced to their full value in the event of a claim.
