Claims Procedure

Any event which is likely to give rise to a claim should be reported immediately to your nearest IC Frith branch below:

1. Take all steps to prevent further loss or damage to property.
2. Notify Police of any injury, loss, burglary, theft or other crime-related event.
3. Report loss to IC Frith (NZ) Ltd Insurance Brokers and complete appropriate claims form, in full.  Remember that late notification could prejudice your claim.  Ensure all Third Party details are obtained.
4. Providing photos of the loss or damage can be helpful.
5. Instigate repairs on instructions from broker, Insurer or Assessor.
6. Forward repair accounts and/ or all relevant documentation to IC Frith (NZ) Ltd insurance Brokers
7. Do not, under any circumstances, admit liability even if pressed to do so.
• Particularly important in Motor Vehicle and Public Liability claims, and your staff should be instructed accordingly.
