Motor Claims

  1. Notify the Police if any person is injured.
  2. Take all necessary steps to safeguard your vehicle, i.e. arrange for it to be towed to a safe place.
  3. Obtain the following details from the Third Party (if any):
    1. Name and Address of owner of the vehicle or property
    2. Name of Third Party’s Insurer
    3. Registration number of the vehicle
  4. Obtain names and addresses of witnesses (if any).
  5. Advise the Third Party to report the accident to their Insurer.  If they are not insured, refer them to IC Frith (NZ) ltd Insurance Brokers.

DO NOT:

    1. Discuss the incident with the Third Party
    2. Express any opinion as to who was at fault
    3. Agree to make good any of the damage

  1. Advise IC Frith (NZ) Ltd Insurance Brokers as soon as possible and provide an estimation on the cost of repairs to your vehicle.  This will enable your Insurers to arrange for the appointment of any assessor if necessary.
  2. Complete and forward a claim form to IC Frith (NZ) Ltd Insurance Brokers as soon as possible.
  3. Forward any relevant correspondence received (e.g. claims upon your Company) to IC Frith (NZ) Ltd Insurance Brokers.
