Board of Directors
Anthony is Managing Director of IC Frith (NZ) Ltd and Chairman of the IC Frith Group. His 21 years of insurance industry experience includes roles in underwriting, risk management and surveying, national account management and broking. He joined IC Frith 10 years ago after working for Vero Insurance, FAI Insurance, HIH Insurance and QBE Insurance.
Simon has been CEO of IC Frith since August 2007. As the elected successor of the founder Ian Frith, he continues to develop strong bonds within the insurance industry, where he is recognised as a key player. His aim is to establish the company as one of the premier brokers in Australia and New Zealand and a key service provider or Product Care Service Plans throughout Australasia. Simon is the Vice President of the Boating Industry Association of New South Wales, Australia and Director of the Boating Industries Alliance Australia. He has more than 15 years experience in middle and senior management roles.
Kevin is a Director and the General Manager - Operations, Warranty Services for IC Frith. He has been with the company for more than 15 years. He has a background of over 30 years in the insurance industry, with experience in general insurance broking, underwriting, agency management and administration. Kevin has previously worked for GRE Insurance and Associated Marine Insurers.
Jason is a Director and the General Manager of Broking and Workers Compensation for IC Frith. He has been with IC Frith for more than 10 years and in the insurance industry for 20 years. Jason has worked for underwriters for approximately 10 years which include AMP, Mercantile Mutual and QBE. Jason set up the Workers Compensation division and managed the New South Wales branch in Australia leading up to his current role as General Manager. Jason is a fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and holds a Masters of Occupational Health and Safety Management, Business Degree and Diploma of Business Management. He is currently studying for a Masters Degree of Business in Financial Services (Insurance).
Craig is a Director and spends his time predominately between Australia and Singapore as the General Manager - Sales & Marketing, Warranty Services for IC Frith. Craig has a keen focus on developing and growing the business in all regions. In his 8 years at IC Frith, Craig has established the warranty and broking operations in both Singapore and Malaysia before setting up the warranty operations in Ireland and Slovenia.
Mark McKinnon - Auckland
Mark is the National Development Manager - Broking and has been with IC Frith since 2005. During his 34 years in the Insurance industry, Mark has worked for Royal Insurance, Lumley Insurance and has also owned his own broking company. Mark has a key focus on procuring new business through various individual and scheme channels.
Joanna McKinnon - Auckland
Joanna joined IC Frith as the Auckland Broking Manager in July 2010. Joanna has worked in the Insurance industry for the past 25 years, with both underwriting and broking experience. Joanna is a Senior Associate of The Australia and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).
Bruce Nelson - Hamilton
Bruce is the Manager of the Hamilton branch having recently sold his business to IC Frith and has been in the insurance industry for 49 years, 43 of those as a broker. He has worked for a number of corporate and international brokers, including time in London, Adelaide and Sydney. Bruce has been QPIB since 1992 and is a past vice-president of the Independent Insurance Brokers Association.
Roger Hanson - Christchurch
Roger is the Christchurch Branch Manager and has been with IC Frith since 1999. With 42 consecutive years in the Australasian broking and underwriting industry including owning his own brokerage, Roger provides extensive management and portfolio expertise to the group.
Lindsay Kerr - Canterbury Rural
Lindsay has been with IC Frith since 1999 and is the Canterbury Rural Branch Manager. Lindsay has been in the Insurance industry for 46 years, in which time he has worked as both a broker and underwriter as well as owned his own broking business. Lindsay is a Senior Associate of The Australia and New Zealand Insurance Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and a member of Insurance Brokers of New Zealand (IBANZ), in which he was a board member for 7 years.
ICF Life and Health
Bernard is a Director and the General Manager of IC Frith Life and Health. Bernard has had various roles within the industry, most notably as General Manager at AIA NZ and General Manager Corporate Distribution with Sovereign Insurance. He is a fellow of the Financial Services of Australasia and has a Diploma in Personal Financial Planning, a post graduate Diploma in Banking and also Business Administration. Bernard has been appointed to the new role within the group to manage and facilitate the life and health services for new and existing IC Frith clients and to develop an offering of Employee Benefit programmes.
ICF Warranty Services
Chantelle joined IC Frith in August 2006 and is the National Warranty Manager for IC Frith Warranty Services. Chantelle is responsible for and manages both warranty operations and sales and marketing within New Zealand. Chantelle is also involved in general administration projects across all branches of the New Zealand operation.
Finance & Administration
Patricia has been the Finance and Admin manager for IC Frith since June 2007. Her responsibilities include all finance, administration and IT issues for the business. Prior to IC Frith, Patricia enjoyed a wide variety of accounting roles at companies such as : Schindler Lifts, Telecom, Mi Services, Motherwell Information Systems and Fujitsu. Since joining IC Frith, Patricia has managed the implementation of new IT, accounting and broking systems and thoroughly enjoys being the “go to” person for all finance, admin and IT issues across the New Zealand operations.
